A group of eight men, criminals and drug addicts, has been stealing cars, committing robberies and dealing drugs since they were 13. Now they are in their twenties, all with prison records. The film focuses on three of the gang, enrolled in a special prison rehabilitation program called Pathfinder. Social workers and prison guards are trying to help them find fight drug addiction and depression. The first seven months of the program are spent inside prison. When summer comes, the group is gradually allowed more freedom.
