Fernando Núnez is a black man, a musician and a maker of drums. He and his friends from the Barrio Sur backstreet quater of Montevideo have decided to fight to keep "Candombe" alive. "Candombe" is the social and cultural legacy from their African slave forefathers - and the Uruguayan people should be aware about this afro-culture.
