Andreas does not step on the lines when he walks on the pavement. Now and then he knocks his chest when he wants to protect himself. 9-year old Andreas is carrying something unbearable: One morning his father took Mikkel, Andreas' elder brother, to school on his motorcycle and a traffic accident killed Mikkel. The family moves into a new house to start afresh. But neither the new house nor the kind new class and teacher are able to relieve Andreas' great sorrow.
