Stone Pastures

The story of a poor, nomadic family living on the Himalayan plateau of Chantang, Ladakh. In the cold desert the family raises pashmina goats. Ladakh's harsh, rocky conditions produce the finest of materials, pashmina wool, the raw material for luxurious Kashmiri shawls, and the family's only source of income.
