An animated Scheherazade from The 1001 Nights is the storyteller. Her 1002nd story is about the world of gay Muslims. We are introduced to Islamic sub-cultures and meet one of the first openly gay imams. The story is full of personal destinies and contradictory images. The film investigates the question of faith and gender in Islam and reveals the secret spaces for those who are different.
