Masa runs a worm business at the Market Place and employs Hara as his assistant. They are both 13. The boss of the business is Masa's big brother Iiro, who controls his territory with mafia-style methods. Peto (the Beast) and his gang are the biggest threat to the worm business and a ruthless fight for the territory begins. For the first time in his life Hara has to choose. By making the wrong choice he might lose an eye or, even worse, a friend.
