The three characters in the film: a pastor, a brother and a grandmother all live in Kagera, Tanzania and they have all lost at least one loved one because of the deadly virus - HIV. The personal stories as well as the visual style of the film challenge the traditional image of the inhabitants of the Third World countries as victims. The narrative is of global anxiety and the shared faith that links to mankind.
