Norwegian painter Thomas Knarvik leaves his artist's den in Oslo to travel to Africa. In the middle of the east African savannah he sets up camp and stretches out a 30-metre-wide canvas. This documentary describes an encounter between the painter, his paintings, and the Masai, who do not separate art from everyday life.
