Asta is seven and in her first year at school. She walks to school every day with her best friend, and after school goes to fencing class. This is a day in Asta's life as she prattles away about everything under the sun. Her tone changes when she describes a spell in hospital with a stomach ache. The pain turned out to have been sparked off by a row between her parents.
