A documentary about a young Norwegian-Pakistani actor, Shiraz Khan. His dream is to act at Norway’s National Theatre. But the few roles he is offered are all stereotypical Pakistanis. Unable to realize his dreams in Norway, he returns to the country his parents chose to leave in the ‘70s. Jan Rekdal, a former make-up artist with a career in the U.S., acts as his manager. They plan to break into the local film industry, where everything from casting to negotiations and fame is completely different from Shiraz’s Norwegian reality.
