The film consists of two main sections and an introduction. The first section consists of shots taken at building sites in the city of Copenhagen. Shots of buildings being constructed, machines, materials, site-mess and mud. Pictures in new hues and new saturations. The second section consists of deserted images of Icelandic mountains, lava fields and stones. Stationary pictures, sequences shot in time lapse and pictures shot from boats and cars.
