Cool and Crazy on the Road

Through a ‘docu-musical’ called Cool & Crazy, the Berlevåg Male Choir and their hometown became famous in Norway. The choir was invited to tour the United States in the autumn of 2001. The oldest choir member was 96 and most had never been in the US. Then, three weeks before their scheduled departure, terrorists flew planes into the World Trade Center. In spite of this, the choir went ahead with the tour.
