In recent years, crime patterns among the young have changed. Crime has become more violent and there is often an amazing lack of empathy among young perpetrators. In the course of a year Maud Nycander has met five young detainees. In confessional interviews, these young men tell us about their childhood, their views on crime and their yearning for love.
