An enormous impact began the unique and dramatic story of the town of Söderfjärden, situated near the city of Vaasa on the west coast of Finland. This documentary starts 520 million years ago. It tells the story of Söderfjärden, its first inhabitants and the controversial drainage project - the grandest of the time in Europe - at the beginning of last century.
