The World is Waiting

Verden venter

A documentary about a group of young people, the year after high school. The film centres on the moment in a young person’s life when dreams and hopes are articulated. Jeppe, cleaning skulls and dusting antiquities in a museum, dreams about film school. His best friend Niels wants to join the Royal Guards, though not tall enough. Matilde is in art school in Italy, but misses her boyfriend and decides to come home. And Sille, a supermarket cashier, doesn’t know whether to stay with her boyfriend or go back to school.
