The Hammer Hill Click is a bunch of young immigrants living in a segregated suburb with a bad name, just outside Gothenburg, Sweden. The film is about hip-hop, through which oppressed young people give voice to their frustration. In the fall of 1998, the Hammer Hill Click were becoming well known. Then, in a fire in a discothèque which killed 63 young people, two members of the Hammer Hill Click perished. "88 Soldiers" is about togetherness, hope and hell, joy and sorrow.
