Kusum

Kusum is a 14 year-old girl in New Delhi with a serious eating and sleeping disorder. Her family seeks help both from western doctors and a traditional healer, Bhagat. The healer sees her illness as the influence of evil spirits that need to be expelled for the patient to be cured. Kusum starts to improve. Whether this is due to the treatment or not is for the viewer to judge.
