Return of the Exiled

Following a two-week stay in Albania where Nicolai Fuglsig witnessed the flow of Kosovar refugees crossing the border, he returned to Kosovo with KFOR in June 1999. Fuglsig was determined to shatter the distance TV has created between the viewers and the victims of the crisis. A reportage shaped as a dramatic narrative with an esthetical edge, the film challenges the pseudo objectivity of normal news coverage.
