The moving story of eight-year-old Daniel, who sees his parents quarrelling. They ignore Daniel totally. Daniel withdraws inside himself and real life disappears. He dreams back to his idyllic birthday with his parents last summer. He is rudely awakened when his mother suddenly notices him. Ridden by guilt, she leaves the house. Daniel is left on his own with his crayons and drawings.
