In 1996, Ricardo Lopez became world famous when television stations all over the globe broadcast the images of his suicide. Lopez had been suffering from a pathological obsession with the pop star, Björk. After sending her a letter bomb, he put a gun in his mouth. He was found dead in his apartment in Hollywood, Florida, along with 18 hours of his video tapes. Danish public television acquired the entire 18 hours from the FBI and decided to show the painful process that preceded the suicide. A powerful attempt to disclose the demented world of this 21-year-old immigrant from Uruguay.
