An eccentric Dane on a bicycle travels alone around the Faeroe Islands, meeting and talking to all kinds of people. He starts in Thorshavn, the capital, on the day of the annual Olejday festival, then continues around all the small islands. The film presents a new, honest and humorous picture of the Faeroese people, their lives and daily routines.
