Aeternus Florere
Aeternus Florere
On a street corner in an East Helsinki suburb stands a small red wooden cottage. The light shines from inside and various colourful flowers can be seen behind the window shutters. A small old woman, Maija (72), stands out amongst the flowers. Maija has run the flower kiosk called Salla Kukka for fifty years and is now trying to let go of her life’s work with the help of her husband Jorma – who she met even before she opened the kiosk.
