The Night is an Ageing Man

A claymation for children based on a nursery rhyme by Danish poet Halfdan Rasmussen, narrated by singer Povl Dissing. It is a poetic description of the magic state between being awake and falling asleep. As you lose consciousness, your mind opens up to dreams. In this state of mind anything can happen and to a child the night may well be an old man, dressed in a starry cloak, descending from the moon.
