The Fleeting Horizon

The meditative essay film studies the relationship between forest usage and fossil capitalism. The experimental short film is shot on 16 mm film in an old-growth spruce forest in the center of Finland and at an old decommissioned oil tank on an island just outside of Helsinki. The films are hand developed partly with a spruce needle developer and partly with a chemical developer.
