Julie's mother died six years ago while she was on holiday in Brazil. Julie didn't make it to the funeral. Now, Julie wants a farewell ceremony and invites her father to Brazil, where her sister lives. Julie and her sister have never talked about their loss and Julie wants to share her grief so she can move on. But after arriving in Rio, Julie realises that neither sister nor father wants another funeral.
