A film about the ASMR online community. ASMR stands for autonomous sensory meridian response and members ease each others’ pain through YouTube videos about tender care, whispering and close personal attention. ASMR posters put many hours into videos that communicate presence and sincerity. ASMR aspires to conquer anxiety by fulfilling ancient, primal needs. We are all a bit broken but human beings can be incredibly inventive when it comes to reaching out to others.
