“Some say I want to be a boy, but I just want to be Gabi.” A simple wish you might think, but it’s not. Gabi feels different. When he was a talkative 8-year-old there was never a problem. But the family moves to a small town and as puberty approaches, changes happen. Over five years we see Gabi grow up, challenging the preconceptions of gender norms and claiming the right to be who you are.
