Why can people in some parts of the world not live without chairs? This is the question that young Karma from the Buddhist kingdom of Bhutan in the Himalayas asks himself. When Karma gives his father, who is a lama, a chair, they are both caught in a strange cultural dilemma. We follow Karma from when he was only ten and first saw a chair.
