In the winter of 2016, a 10-year old Palestinian girl, Farah, arrives in Finland with her mother and two brothers. It is the first time she sees snow and she loves it! Farah learns to ski in the International Skiing School along with other immigrant children. At regular school, she makes friends and eventually finds her own place in the world. Farah's journey towards independence and her adaptation to a free society unsettle her family. Freedom fascinates Farah but troubles her mother.
