Laura (52) is wheelchair-bound. Her beloved 20-year-younger brother has recently passed away. Laura and her family quarrel over the funeral arrangements. Honoring his wish, she intends to scatter his ashes at sea. Helped by her assistant Anna, she steals the ashes from the urn at the crematorium. But the next morning, the ashes are accidentally dumped in the trash. Laura and Anna try to steal someone else's ashes. Eventually a simple and intimate ceremony is performed on Suomenlinna island at dawn.
