The twins, Molly and Smilla, are at a crucial time of their lives. We follow them from age 11 to 15. The girls are diagnosed with autism and must learn to live with the awareness of being different. They slowly leave their safe bubble to step out into the world as confident, strong girls. At the end of the film, Molly takes a big leap and starts at a higher school level.
