Charles is a refugee in Finland and is telling his story to his daughter Nadine. After six years he wanted to travel back to the border of Rwanda and Congo to meet his mother and family in the Kiziba refugee camp. His wife and nine-year-old Nadine, his oldest daughter, were booked to travel with him. But at Helsinki airport, her wife fled with Nadine. On his trip, Charles writes a long letter to his daughter explaining where he and his family are from and how they became refugees.
