December 27th, 1999. Vala (30) and Benni (32) are on the road with their yellow canary in a Volvo filled with luggage. They're moving from the city to the countryside and are trying to agree on what they want from the change. Their journey comes to a violent stop when they collide with another vehicle. The Volvo spins off the road and stops upside down at the bottom of a hill. Vala wakes up in the wrecked vehicle with a pounding in her head only to find that she is stuck in her seatbelt and Benni is nowhere to be seen.
