Director Tómas Gislason’s road movie about his own odyssey in the USA. It was a dramatic 50 day-journey through God’s Own Country in an eventful period: the O.J. Simpson Trial, the Oklahoma Bombing, the Million-Man March, the focus on militia movements and other political pressure groups. In fear, paranoia and political images, Tómas moves between militias, priests, black and white racists and TV and radio commentators, trying to establish a belief.
