Javed, 11, dropped out of 2nd grade because his teacher was beating him. He left home because his mum beat him if he did not make money for the family. Javed now lives on the beach where he surfs and with his friend, Shahidul, makes money giving people massages. He almost wins a surf contest and afterwards, talking with his best friend and surfing teacher, decides to go back to school. He will continue surfing in his spare time. Maybe he can win the next competition and make a living by being the best surfer on the beach.
