All people are beautiful when they work, believed photographer Jean Hermanson. His poetic portraits of workers are part of our cultural heritage. Jean wanted to show the people and conditions of Sweden’s factories. When Hermanson died, his assistant Nils Petter Löfstedt wanted to complete his work. We leave the archives and go back to the places and people once caught on Jean’s negatives.
