Flightmode

Lone is an ambitious but unsatisfied academic. Looking for a job, she fails the interview, and escapes by driving off aimlessly in her car. She picks up a young girl hitchhiker, another ambitious young woman. Lone tells lies about herself. The girl is impressed and invites Lone to a party in her small home town. Lone sees she is not the only one, not the only struggler with ambitions, some of them never to be met. Lone tells the truth and faces the consequences.
