Film director Suvi is a young Sámi woman living in Helsinki. Expecting her first child, she longs for her ancestral land in the north, and wants her child to have a northern identity. Anssi, Suvi's partner, is deeply in love with her and is afraid of losing her to Sámiland. The north doesn't feel like home for him, but he wants her to be happy and will consider changing his lifestyle for her. Is this all just nostalgia? A dream that doesn't exist?
