The everyday lives of five refugee children in a Red Cross asylum school in a small Danish town. The school unites refugee children from conflicted areas all over the world. They attend classes while waiting for answers: Will they be granted residency, or will they be sent back to where they came from? Andreas Koefoed is the only Danish documentary filmmaker to be granted access to the school for several years.
