What happens when a world-renowned artist suddenly loses his natural abilities? The filmmaker’s friend, the painter Per Kirkeby, fell down a flight of stairs and suffered a severe head injury. Kirkeby had previously recovered from a brain haemorrhage and two blood clots, but the fall two years ago prevents him from working. He lost not only his physical mobility but also his ability to recognize colours and even his own artwork.
