A film about 16-year-old Martta, who learns to see. Martta and her mother Anne are clearing out the apartment where Martta's grandfather died. Martta doesn't take much, but the things she takes turn out to be significant in a way she didn't expect. Coincidence? Maybe not. A growth story and about the changing relationship between mother and daughter, a story pushed towards its culmination by an old film camera. It also contains a mystery. Can anyone ever really know everything about another person's life? Or even the things that matter?
