Something Better to Come

An extraordinary 13 year personal journey to one of the bleakest urban places in the world. Eleven-year-old Yula lives in the Svalka, the biggest junkyard in Europe, 20 km from downtown Moscow. Surrounded by barbed wire and guards, the area is closely monitored to keep intruders out. But inside the junkyard a small group of people forms a lawless community. These are Yula's closest family. She dreams of one day leaving.
