Elle, 78, does not like Sami people, even though her first language was Sami and she grew up in the mountains of Lapland. She claims to be completely Swedish and from the south. Pressured by her son, she reluctantly returns north for her sister's funeral. When her son tells her he wants them to stay overnight with relatives, she refuses and checks in at the local hotel with the tourists.
