In 1982 Nafiz was one of the “Lions from Gaza” - a group of brave young Palestinians fighting against the Israeli occupation. At the same time I was making my first feature length documentary about Gaza and Nafiz was helping us. Today Nafiz lives with his wife and children in Sweden. But his parents and friends expect him to return home to the new “Palestinian Gaza”. Finally, after 13 years in exil, “the Lion” goes back and we follow him...
