Bibi Andersson, Harriet Andersson and Gunnel Lindblom, three of Ingmar Bergman’s favourite actors. Nearly 30 years ago they acted together in “The Girls”, a film by Mai Zetterling. In the summer of 1995 they met in Mai Zetterling’s house in Ardèche in France, discussing professional experiences and their lives over four decades. What did they expect from their professional careers? And how are they getting on to-day, all three still leading active professional lives? “Lines From The Heart” is a tribute to Mai Zetterling, who died in 1994.
