Sharaf

The boat was like a little fly in the sea, in two-meter high waves. We drifted without food or water. Sharaf (17) is one of the thousands of boat refugees to wash up on Gran Canaria in the last years, having crossed the ocean in a small boat. Sharaf was lucky and survived. Thousands have died in the Atlantic and the Mediterranean trying to get into the EU.
