Kapten Kiddo

On September 23, 2014 documentary filmmakers Finn and Kristina were told that the baby they were expecting, Kapten Kiddo (Captain of the Belly!) had died. With the camera they depict their experiences from the day they became pregnant, through the baby’s heart disease and death, until the birth of their second child, and their wedding in August 2016. The material, collected during a period of two years, gives a unique insight into the experience of loss and how we manage to tackle tragic situations. Kapten Kiddo is a film about grief & the fragility of life but most of all, a film about love.
