In this unconventional documentary, Steffan Strandberg tells the story about growing up with an alcoholic mother and about the night when his father finally came and took him and his younger brother away. Using animation, live-action reconstructions and old Super 8-footage, Strandberg recreates the summer of 1980 like he remembers it at the age of eleven.
