The film begins when Rokhsar Sediqi is 14 years old. It has been four years since Rokhsar and her family fled Afghanistan. After six months of illegal border crossing through Europe, they ended up in DK, where they applied for asylum. But the Danish Immigration Service questions whether they are in fact being persecuted by the Taliban in Afghanistan and has denied the family asylum several times.
