Kimberley Motley is the only woman and foreigner with a licence to litigate in Afghan courts. She originally came for the money, but corruption and the lack of women's and human rights have aroused in her an unexpected desire to stay and fight for justice. However, the unstable security conditions make things difficult, and nobody knows what will happen when the international troops leave.
